Location: Concord, Ontario
Wage: $21.00 - $25.00/hr
Description: Perform precision TIG welding to join metal components, ensuring quality and accuracy in accordance with specifications. Operate welding equipment, maintain a clean work area, and follow safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities:

-  Lay out, measure and fit metal work pieces prior to welding.
- Utilize Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding techniques to fuse metals with exceptional precision, producing clean, high-quality welds in various thicknesses and materials.
- Clean, grind, and prepare metal surfaces for welding, removing contaminants and ensuring a smooth welding surface.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment to ensure optimal functionality and prevent breakdowns.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper ventilation.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 10 years’ experience of Tig Welding.
- Able to follow, read and understand shop drawings and blueprints.
- Able to weld CRS, Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Brass.
- Fitting metal components such as tubing, sheet metal and machines components.
- Able to use a variety of small tools such as clamps, measuring tape, square, caliper, grinder and small electrical tools.
- Proficient in English.
- Able to make basic working Jigs to facilitate production.
