Location: Manitoba
Wage: $14.15/hr
Description: A line cook is responsible for preparing and cooking various dishes according to the restaurant's menu and recipes. They work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Line cooks also assist in stocking ingredients, organizing workstations, and following food safety guidelines. Their role requires attention to detail, efficient multitasking, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Shift: Full-time position, expect to work in morning shifts, late nights, and weekends.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to our recipes and specifications, ensuring the highest quality and presentation standards are met.
- Assist in the development and improvement of menu items by providing input and feedback to the culinary team.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient and smooth operations during service hours.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following sanitation and food safety guidelines.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of food products to minimize waste and maintain freshness.
- Adhere to portion control guidelines and minimize food waste by accurately measuring ingredients and appropriately using leftovers.
- Assist with inventory management by reporting shortages, restocking supplies, and monitoring ingredient quality.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

-  Minimum 2-3 years’ experience of Line Cook.
