Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba
Wage: $14.15/hr
Description: A chef plans menus, prepares and cooks dishes using various techniques, and manages kitchen operations to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Shift: Full-time position, expect to work in morning shifts, late nights, and weekends.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes, incorporating diverse culinary techniques and flavors, catering to a range of tastes and preferences.
- Develop and innovate recipes to create unique and enticing menu items that reflect different cultural influences and preferences.
- Ensure all food preparation and cooking activities are conducted in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the management team to plan menus, seasonal ingredients, customer feedback, and dietary restrictions.
- Manage and train kitchen staff to maintain consistency and quality in food preparation and presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with suppliers to ensure the availability of fresh
and high-quality ingredients.
- Stay updated on food trends and culinary techniques, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among the kitchen staff.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience working as a Chef, with a specialization in diverse cuisine.
- In-depth knowledge of various culinary traditions and techniques, enabling the creation of authentic and culturally diverse dishes.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Exceptional creativity and the ability to develop innovative and appealing recipes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to train and mentor kitchen staff.
- Effective communication skills, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
- At least level 5 CLB English.

 Benifit:
