Wage: $19.00- $22.00/hr
Description: A baker crafts an assortment of delightful desserts and baked goods. With a deep understanding of ingredients and techniques, they create visually appealing and delicious treats that cater to various occasions and preferences. You should also be able to establish recipes but also have the creativity to develop new and unique offerings, pushing the boundaries of flavor and design.
Shift: Full-time position, expect to work monday-friday (start time around 7:00am- 3pm)

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Selecting appropriate recipes for various baked goods.
- Measuring and mixing ingredients to create batters and doughs.
- Ensuring accurate measurements and following recipes precisely.
- Preheating ovens and setting appropriate baking temperatures.
- Monitoring baking times to ensure goods are cooked to perfection.
- Rotating trays to ensure even baking.
- Decorating cakes with frosting, icing, fondant, and other decorative elements.
- Creating intricate designs, patterns, and themes based on customer requests.
- Using piping bags, spatulas, and various tools to achieve desired decorative effects.
- Following strict hygiene and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean baking environment.
- Regularly cleaning work surfaces, utensils, and equipment.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial bakery setting
- Able to work monday-friday morning shifts (start time around 7:00 am finish typically around 3pm)
- Experienced in following recipes / mixing / baking / documenting
- Be able to lift 30-40 kilo bags of ingredients such as sugar / flour
- Understanding in HAACP / BRC as we currently sit high in the global food safety rankings
- Be a team player / leader in a fast paced work environment that is the wholesale bakery
workplace.
- We are looking for a full out experienced baker who has worked in a commercial
environment and can use commercial mixers / ovens / scales right away

 Benifit:

Salary: $19.00- $22.00/hr
