Location: Alberta
Wage: $27-$67.44/ hr
Description: Body painter is responsible for preparing and painting the exteriors of vehicles to achieve a high-quality finish. This role involves tasks such as sanding, priming, and masking surfaces to ensure a smooth and clean surface for paint application. Car body painters also select and mix paint colors to match original finishes, apply paint using various techniques, and operate painting equipment safely and efficiently.
Shift: Full-time position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Refinish repaired surface, using paint spray guns
- Application of primers, masking and repainting automotive surfaces in accordance with factory and dealership specifications
- Polish painted surfaces
- Maintain a clean workspace and tools
- Working and communicating with management, estimators and fellow technicians

Qualifications:

- 2 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of related education and experience) preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Vocational/technical school preferred
- Certification of completion of technical school specializing in the repair/refinish of all series of truck and trailer preferred
- Working knowledge of tools of trade (including welding equipment, paint equipment, shop machines, and power tools) preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Basic computer skills required
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required,submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.

 Benifit:

Salary: $27-$67.44/hr
