Location: Alberta
Wage: $23.58/hr
Description: Cleaning supervisors lead and coordinate daily duties of other employees in the following unit groups: Cleaners with lighter responsibilities and those engaged in janitorial, maintenance, and building management roles.
Shift: Full-time position
Benefits: Overtime pay

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Oversee and organize the tasks of light duty, industrial, or specialized cleaners, along with janitorial staff.
- Conduct inspections of sites or facilities to verify compliance with established safety and cleanliness benchmarks.
- Suggest or coordinate supplementary services when necessary, such as painting, repairs, renovations, or equipment replacement.
- Recruit and provide training for cleaning personnel.
- Develop work schedules and synchronize efforts with other departments.
- Formulate budgets, project cost estimates, and maintain financial documentation. Possibly engage in certain cleaning responsibilities

Qualifications:

- At least level 5 CLB English.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role, with demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

 Benifit:

Salary: $23.58/hr
