• Working Location: Binh Duong
• Working time: Monday to ½ Saturday
• Company size: 5,000 employees with 4 manufacturing plants

Job Responsibility for Director of Logistics – Top Headhunter in Vietnam Market

  • Management and Optimization of the Entire Supply Chain Process: Oversee and optimize the entire transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes within the company to ensure efficient operations and cost savings.
  • Ensure Continuity and Reliability in the Supply Chain: Guarantee a continuous and reliable supply chain to ensure products are consistently available for customers.
  • Development and Implementation of Long-Term Logistics Strategies: Develop and execute long-term logistics strategies to meet the company’s growth needs.
  • Team Management and Development: Ensure effective training, development, and management of the logistics team, including transportation managers, warehouse staff, and distribution personnel.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Ensure the supply chain operates efficiently, from procurement, manufacturing, storage, to distribution, in order to meet customer demands and optimize costs.
  • Warehouse Management: Monitor and manage inventory to ensure it remains at optimal levels and that there is no unnecessary damage or loss.
  • Transportation Coordination: Manage the transportation of goods, including transportation planning, selection of transportation partners, and ensuring on-time and secure delivery of goods.
  • Establish and Maintain Logistics Information Systems: Utilize technology and information systems to track, evaluate, and improve performance within the supply chain and logistics.
  • Logistics Strategy Development: Develop and implement long-term logistics strategies to meet the company’s and customers’ needs, including reviewing and improving existing processes and procedures.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure all logistics operations comply with safety, environmental, and legal regulations.
  • Financial Resource Management: Manage logistics budgets and assets to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Regularly report on logistics performance to company leadership and conduct data analysis to propose improvements.

 

Requirement for Director of Logistics – Top Headhunter in Vietnam Market

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in supply chain management, transportation, economics, business administration, project management, or a similar field.
  • 15 years of experience in logistics or industry-related field.
  • Experience managing teams of full-time and part-time employees.
  • Experience in analyzing metrics and data-driven decisionmaking.
  • Proven ability to design and execute a supply chain strategy.
  • Technical and applied understanding of logistics software and warehouse management systems.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, etc.).
  • Fluent with English.
  • Multitasking capabilities.
